The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is the hub of REACH, an EU-wide regulatory framework for  chemicals aimed at improving the protection of human health and the environment whilst enhancing competitiveness and innovation.

ECHA is now recruiting the following staff: Communications Officers.

The deadline for applications is 15 June 2009.

The successful candidates will join a new fast-growing multicultural organisation devoted to ensuring the safe use of chemicals across the European Union. They will work at ECHA’s headquarters in Helsinki, .

Cercasi Communications Assistant

ECHA is organising the current call for expressions of interest, based on qualifications and interview, to constitute a reserve list for the post of Communications Assistant. The Communications Assistant will work in the Communications Unit, in the Cooperation Directorate of the Agency. The Communications Unit is in the process of building up.

We plan to recruit one assistant from this recruitment process in 2009 and to create a reserve list for future planned posts. There are four teams in the Communications Unit – Internal Communications, External Communications, the Press Office and Digital Communications. The people recruited will work in one of the first three teams of the Unit: Internal, External or the Press Office.
